Psychological
Assessment is a systematic evaluation of a person’s mental health and behavior.
Generally, this course aims to introduce Psychological Assessment to students
to help them understand different theories including nature of tests,
historical background of Psychological Assessment, psychometric properties –
reliability and validity. This also includes the principles of test
administration, scoring and interpretation, ethical considerations, types of
tests (Intelligence, Personality, and Achievement). Moreover, this course will
help the students learn how to write a Psychological Evaluation Report in
various context (Clinical, Industrial, and Educational settings) and appropriate
test selection for diverse populations while giving emphasis on the importance
of ethical considerations and sensitivity.
