Science, Technology, and Society (STS) deals with interaction between science, technology, social, cultural, political, and economic contexts that shaped and are shaped by them. (CMO No. 20, Series of 2013)
This course engages the students confront the realities that are integral to human development such as personal, public, and global aspects of our living. This also seek to instill reflective knowledge to students that they are able to experience living a good life while making ethical decisions in spite of the advancement in science and technology. It also includes mandatory topics about climate change and environmental awareness.
